Nick Cannon is bringing Wild ’N Out Live: The Next Generation to Prudential Center on Tuesday, December 8, and the public ticket sale opens today, September 24, at 10 a.m. Eastern.
For New York-area fans, Newark is the closest stop on a 20-city arena run built around the franchise’s familiar mix of improv comedy, freestyle battles, hip-hop performances, audience participation and surprise guests. Doors are scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m.
What goes on sale today
General tickets are scheduled to become available through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Eastern. Ticketmaster lists an eight-ticket purchase limit for the tour and says prices will appear when the sale begins. Accessible seats can be found by opening the ticket filters and selecting the accessible-ticket option.
The official event page also lists group seating for parties of 10 or more and premium hospitality options. Ticketmaster says VIP packages may include different combinations of early entry, merchandise or other benefits, depending on availability. Buyers should compare the package details before checkout because those elements are not transferable.
A television format built for an arena
Wild ’N Out has spent more than two decades turning battle-rap instincts, sketch comedy and celebrity cameos into a live competition. Live Nation says this tour will carry the show’s signature games and freestyle rounds into arenas while introducing a new cast alongside Cannon and special guests.
That arena scale matters. The television series works because the crowd is never only a backdrop. Reactions, call-and-response moments and volunteers can change the pace of a segment in real time. The tour is selling that same unpredictability as the main attraction, not simply recreating a television set onstage.
The franchise enters its 22nd season after helping widen the audience for performers including Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, DC Young Fly and others. The Newark date places that history in one of the region’s largest rooms, with the live show positioned as both a comedy tour and a hip-hop event.
Before the December 8 show
Prudential Center is at 25 Lafayette Street in Newark. The venue advises guests to review its entry policy before arrival. Ticketmaster says mobile barcodes may not become available until roughly 48 hours before the event, even though the order will appear in the buyer’s account earlier. Saving the ticket to a mobile wallet before leaving for the arena can prevent connection problems at the door.
